Prepare for the wedding of the year…
We’re so excited you’re joining us for our wedding!
We’ve compiled a list of everything you’ll need to know below.
If your question isn’t answered, please drop one of us a message and we’ll do our best to answer.
Oh, and please don’t forget to RSVP at the bottom of this page.
Daytime Guests
-
The ceremony starts at 12pm sharp at Stockport Town Hall.
The address is: Edward St, Stockport SK1 3XE -
Please arrive at Stockport Town Hall no later than 11:30am.
-
We ask that you use Uber, taxis or public transport to get to Stockport Town Hall.
If you need to drive, please park your car in Manchester city centre and Uber out to Stockport - the drive takes around 20 minutes.
If you require parking, we recommend using the Tib Street Multi Storey Car Park, M4 1PD - it's directly across from the reception venue. -
There's no real dress code or colour theme for this wedding - we just want you to be happy and comfortable.
Ladies, feel free to wear a big hat. Gents, suit and tie will do just fine.
Just don't try to upstage Lucy... -
Fear not. We have a coach to take everyone back into Manchester together.
The reason for this is really simple - it's a Saturday afternoon in the middle of May; the city centre will be very busy when we arrive at the reception venue and we would like everyone to stay together. -
The reception venue is: Evelyn's Cafe Bar, 44 Tib St, Manchester, M4 1LA
-
Our reception starts at 1:30pm.
There will be a drinks reception, followed by a 'family style' dinner at 2:30pm. This means food is served on large plates in the middle of each table - just help yourself to as much or as little as you'd like.
The speeches will be after dinner before we move downstairs for our evening entertainment.
Evening Guests
-
The party venue is: The Daisy, 44 Tib St, Manchester, M4 1LA
-
The party starts at 7pm in The Daisy, which is the bar underneath Evelyn's Cafe Bar.
We would like you to come and drink, dance and eat with us and our families as we celebrate our marriage.
That's it. That's the plan. -
What do you take us for?
Of course there's food! The kitchen in Evelyn's will be serving their famous Korean-fried chicken tenders and fries upstairs.
Downstairs, we'll be serving the finest McDonald's platters Manchester has to offer.
No, that's not a joke. -
Dress to impress but make sure you're comfortable. We don't want any sore feet or unhappy faces.
-
See below for that.
-
Depends. Are they a knobhead?
Then no.
In all seriousness, we don't have an issue if you'd like to bring a mate/spouse/side ting to enjoy the night with you. We just ask that you let us know at least 1 month in advance so we can confirm our numbers with the venue.
Any unfamiliar faces will be booted straight out. No exceptions.

Only joking.

Absolutely fucking not. This wedding is a child-free zone. Let them spend some time with a grandparent or friend for the evening.
-
Jesus, we have to do everything around here, don't we?
We have a discounted rate at Whitworth Locke, 74 Princess St, Manchester M1 6JD.

Sort of.
Firstly, gifts are of course, optional.
Secondly, we've been living together for almost 7 years so we definitely don't need an air fryer, if that's what you're thinking.
However, we're planning the honeymoon of a lifetime in late 2025, so if you're able to contribute towards that in any way, we'd be very grateful.
(Side note: Please, please, PLEASE don't get us wine. If you bring a bottle we'll make you drink it on the night.) -
We'll be hosting a small breakfast for close family and friends the morning after our wedding day.
If we'd like you to be there, we'll let you know.
RSVP
Please RSVP by Sunday March 9th 2025 so we can confirm our numbers with the venue.
If you’re sending an RSVP for more than one person (for example, if you’re married and both attending), please leave a comment in the final box on the form.
